Bill offers over 25 years of experience, most recently in the Student Financial Services Office at RIT and as the Assistant Director of Financial Aid for Training and Program Management at the City University of New York. He has been an instructor at NYSFAAA’s Novice Training program for nearly 20 years and has co-chaired the event twice. Bill has also done some stand-up comedy at clubs in Manhattan. Bill’s unique sense of humor and his deep understanding of financial aid at all levels combine to form a most memorable and effective training experience. |

 | Karen T. Taylor, B.S.
Karen’s credentials as a presenter and trainer are impressive. She has over 20 years of experience, including nearly a decade as a Senior Financial Aid Advisor at SUNY Cortland. She has served as an instructor at NYSFAAA’s Novice Training program six times, taught freshman transition courses at SUNY Cortland, presented at a host of conferences, and chaired several NYSFAAA and ASA committees. She is currently Vice President of SUNYFAP and has been recognized with their Service Award. Her considerable hands-on experience and her student-centered approach to financial aid administration combine to make her presentation style unique, dynamic and entertaining.

Susan’s 20 years of experience and a highly effective communication style make her uniquely qualified to train Financial Aid Professionals. For nearly 10 years, she has served as the Director of Financial Aid at SUNY Potsdam. Among her numerous committees, she has served as Peer Review Committee Member for SUNYFAP and Regional Representative of the NYSFAAA Executive Council. Susan’s breadth of financial aid knowledge and experience has made her highly-respected in the New York State financial aid community. A natural teacher, Sue’s presentation style is lively, upbeat, and interactive.

 | Warren J. Hoffman, Ed.M
Warren offers 30 years of service in financial aid. After retiring from SUNY Buffalo State College, he pursued his passion for training and advising the next generation of Financial Aid Professionals. Warren has held numerous offices in NYSFAAA where he was awarded the prestigious Founder’s Service Award. He also served as President for the State University of New York Financial Aid Professionals. Warren’s counseling skills and mentoring of new financial aid professionals are legendary. Attending a presentation hosted by Warren is a rare opportunity to learn from one of the industry’s great masters.

Dave’s career spans nearly 25 years as Director of Financial Advisement at SUNY Cortland and Corporate Director of Financial Aid at Bryant & Stratton College. He has been a senior trainer at NYSFAAA’s Novice Training Workshop ten times. Dave has also been a speaker and trainer for EASFAA, NYSOBBA, HESC, and ASA. He has served as featured presenter at annual NYSFAAA and SUNYFAP conferences a combined 21 times. Dave’s passion, personality, and diverse professional experiences create a dynamic and enjoyable learning environment.
